The highly anticipated app for the Sorare gaming platform was presented on May 4, 2022. Currently the app is only available for the iOS operating system on iPhones and for Android ! Let’s have a look at the features currently available in the new app.
How to download the application
Launched in May 2022, the free Sorare app is currently available for the iOS operating system for iPhone and for the Android system. To download the app, simply go to the app store and click install. Please note that there are several applications specific to Sorare in the App Store (we will address this aspect in greater detail further below). The official Sorare app is called Sorare: Fantasy Football. Installing the app on your smartphone only takes a few seconds. New: Sorare app for Android is also available !

Players who don’t have an iPhone can still use the mobile version of the platform. To do this, you have to open your smartphone’s internet browser and enter Sorare in the search bar. This will take you directly to the sorare.com home page. Our tip: It is possible to save the Sorare homepage like an app on your home screen.
How to sign up in the Sorare app
Since the release of the Sorare app, we have gained a lot more experience contributing to further improvement of the game. As of now, the app provides many features that were only available in the full desktop version. We will now show you how to register a Sorare account in the app. If you already have an account, you can easily log into your account using the app.
To create an account, all you have to do is click on “Create Account”. On the next page, Sorare football asks for the following information: email, nickname and password. Finally, you must tick the box confirming that you accept the company’s terms and conditions.
Players who already have an account simply need to enter their email address and password when opening the app.
How to play Sorare in the app iOS or Android
As mentioned above, the Sorare application gives more freedom to managers who want to play from their mobile device. Among the features of the Sorare app we found the following:
- team selection
- tracking results
- collecting rewards
- receiving notifications
The first major novelty concerns the team selections in the different leagues of the game. In fact, the “Tournaments” tab displays all the competitions available on Sorare, while the “My Teams” tab is reserved for the team selections for each competition in which the manager is involved. Naturally, the training mode is also displayed in the “Tournaments” area.
Another handy feature for users is to track the scores of the players in real-time during each game week. After each bet, the points earned by each player and team are also displayed. Furthermore, starting on the home screen, the app provides each manager with stats and data to analyze player performances from the previous week as well as the current gameweek while at the same time preparing the team for the next day. In addition to that, it is possible to share your teams with your friends.
Every manager gets rewards in Sorare when their team performs well. To keep track of your rewards, simply click on the View Rewards tab on the home page to see what fee-based or free cards you have received from Sorare. Feel free to share that info with your community!
There are also real-time notifications in the new Sorare app. Here you will be informed about ongoing matches and your players’ performances. Whether it’s a goal, a crucial pass, or other points scored by your team… all this information is displayed live on your smartphone! Push notifications about app updates can also be activated.
Other Sorare apps
Before the Sorare application was officially released, many fans and developers had already launched several apps to improve the gaming experience. Among these applications, apps like Sorare Data, SorareSharp or SorareInside deserve a mention.
Our focus here is on Sorare Data because it was the most popular app in the Sorare community before the inception of the official Sorare app. With Sorare Data, it’s possible to track the your players’ performances in real time (which wasn’t possible before without the official app). It also offers notifications about team selections and key moments involving your players. These features are also available in the official version of the game.
What makes the Sorare Data app special is that it allows you to ‘scout’ the up and coming rough diamonds of world football, so you can get them on your team before anybody else. In addition to scouting on Sorare Data or other sites, it’s also a good idea to check out the games of lesser-known players before buying cards on Sorare. And if the matches are delayed because they’re taking place on another continent, try to at least find the summaries of the matches online!
The strategy of recruiting or buying cards on the platform is an essential part of the game, but there isn’t just one method to achieve this. For this reason, it is important to check all our pages as well as our newsfeed where we post the latest important information about Sorare.
Finally, it is important to remind you that the official Sorare application is currently only available on iOS for iPhone & Android. However, smartphone owners using others operating systems can use the mobile version of Sorare.
The current application does not yet allow in-app purchases of Sorare cards, but this should happen shortly within the next updates of the app. We kindly ask for your patience in this respect.
